| Coldwell Banker’s Sarasota Downtown Office Raises $6,000 for 14 Local Charities | |
| Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate CARES, the charitable arm of Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate distributed nearly $6,000 to 14 different non-profit charities in Sarasota and Manatee counties on November 9, 2011 at an event at Art Center Sarasota. The funds were raised by Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate’s Sarasota Downtown office through their annual raffle.
Sales associates in the company’s office nominated the charities that were chosen — most are organizations they are personally involved with and the office’s CARES committee voted on how to distribute the funds. The following local organizations were selected as recipients:

| More than 40 items were generously donated by local businesses and individuals, including The Ritz-Carlton, Bijou Café, Caraguilo’s, Longboat Key Club, Morton’s Market, Michael’s on East, The Founders Club and Sarasota Polo Club. The average value of each item was over $250.
"Sarasota, as a whole, is very community minded and offers so much to improve and enhance the quality of life for her residents. It is our pleasure to be able to give back to these organizations who do such great work in the communities we serve," said Pauline Bennett, managing broker of the Sarasota Downtown office.
