Coldwell Banker NRT Expansion Adds Local Jobs and Strengthens Back-Office Services at Southeast Regional Support Center
NRT LLC, the nation’s largest residential real estate brokerage, is hiring new employees for the expansion of its Southeast Regional Support Center in Sarasota, Florida. This service center currently provides back-office support services for three NRT brokerage companies operating under the Coldwell Banker® banner in Florida, Atlanta, Dallas/Fort Worth, and NRT Development Advisors and NRT REOExperts. As of August 1, the team will be providing support services to the Greater Baltimore and Washington, D.C. companies.

"Ranked #14 among the top highest-grossing locally based companies by Sarasota’s Biz 941 Magazine, Coldwell Banker is deeply committed to serving the Sarasota and Manatee communities," said Kate Rossi, Executive Vice President, NRT LLC Southeast. "As local business leaders, we’re proud to help boost the economy by hiring talented personnel at our regional office."

The Southeast Regional Support Center staff has been recognized with industry awards for providing a full range of exceptional in-house services in several departments, including marketing, finance, human resources, relocation, property management, facilities management and information technology.

The Southeast Region’s Relocation Division handles over 40,000 referrals each year, more than any other relocation division in the world, according to Glenda Philpot, Regional Vice President of Relocation, NRT Southeast LLC. Serving the needs of Fortune 500 companies and industry leaders, the Relocation Division ensures seamless relocations.

Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate is Florida’s largest residential real estate company and its FloridaMoves.com website is the largest in the country for NRT. In the last 12 months, over 4.3 million potential homebuyers searched FloridaMoves.com for residences statewide in 13 languages, including visitors from 203 countries and territories around the world.

"This strategic expansion increases the resources available to each of our companies," said Rossi. "The regional support center model enables local leaders to focus on growth, sales associates and client satisfaction. We capitalize on the geographic proximity of these five NRT companies as well as our established culture of sharing best practices by adopting this model. Now, by strengthening the back-office support of these individual companies, we are greater than the sum of our parts and ultimately better positioned to service our sales associates and their clients."

Each of the five local operating companies will continue to be led by their current presidents. This includes Clark W. Toole III, President, Florida, Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate and Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT; Sue Meyer, President, Dallas/Fort Worth, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage and Charlotte Sears, President, Atlanta, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Paul Valentino President of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Washington, D.C., and Dean Cottrill, President of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Greater Baltimore.

"Our goal is to continue to provide exceptional service to our 9,000 sales associates and employees throughout the Southeast region," said Dennis Dorsch, Chief Operating Officer, Southeast Region, NRT LLC.

In 2010, NRT Southeast closed more than 62,000 real estate transactions.
