First established in 1974, the festival has evolved from a local street show to one of the most prestigious cultural art festivals on the East Coast. This signature community event showcases the artwork of 150 artists from across the nation, exhibiting paintings, sculpture, glass, ceramics, jewelry and photography. The nationally recognized event draws over 30,000 visitors, both young and old, to North Beach's seaside promenade to browse the fine art on exhibit while enjoying an array of performing arts. The festival features music and entertainment by some of South Florida's top performers, an international food court and plenty of activities for the kids. A children's gallery will feature hands-on arts & crafts - while several Miami-Dade County elementary schools are creating youth exhibits.
