| Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate's Terri Bersach Earns Certified International Property Specialist Designation | |
| Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate is pleased to announce that Terri Bersach, CRB, CRS, TRC, Branch Manager of the Kendall Town & Country office, has earned the Certified International Property Specialist designation (CIPS). According to Bersach, a real estate professional for 14 years, "This designation is a great business tool to help bridge the gap amongst different cultures and better service our international clients. In South Florida's market place it even proves more valuable since a great percentage of our transactions involve the international aspect."
The CIPS designation is awarded by the National Association of Realtors. It is earned by individuals who complete a seven-part program of study focusing on critical aspects of international transactions. The topics of study include regional market conditions, cross-cultural relationships, currency and exchange rate issues and investment performance and tax issues. "We are seeing buyers from Germany, the United Kingdom, Canada and Latin America investing in Florida real estate. Advertising abroad helps create the greatest exposure and interest," said Bersach, the 2008 Residential Board President for the Realtor Association of Greater Miami and the Beaches (RAMB). She was formally recognized at the recent National Association of Realtor's Annual Convention in Orlando.
