| Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT is pleased to announce that Donna Clarke, a former Florida State Representative, recently joined the company's Sarasota office. A resident of Sarasota County for 13 years, Clarke was elected to the Florida House of Representatives 69th District, which represents northern Sarasota County and parts of southern Manatee County, on November 7, 2000. She was subsequently reelected in 2002 and in 2004. A graduate of the University of Miami with a B.Ed., in education and a M.S., in industrial management from Georgia Institute of Technology, Clarke ran for the Florida District 13 Congressional seat in 2006. She served as chair of the Water & Natural Resources Committee and served on the State Resources Council and Insurance Committee. Clarke was appointed to the Governor's Citizens Advisory Committee on Coastal Resources Management and the Florida Water Advisory Panel. Clarke, a Florida native, has been honored by the Florida Association of Blood Banks, the Sarasota Association of Realtors, Commercial Investment Division and the Manatee Coalition for Affordable Housing.
