| Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate is pleased to announce that Μercedes Henriksson, the Weston City Commissioner and a Sales Associate at the company's Weston office, was elected one of 12 women to be honored at the 6th Annual Hispanic Women of Distinction luncheon for contribution to her community.
According to Henriksson, "I am committed to serving my community and take pride in my Hispanic culture. Together, we are redefining the role of Hispanic women in society." The benefit luncheon will be held on Friday, August 17, at Signature Grand in Davie presented by Latina Style Magazine to officially kick-off the Viva Broward! Hispanic Heritage Month. Charities benefiting this year are the March of Dimes and Women of Spanish Origin, an organization that provides scholarships to worthy Hispanic students. "Μercedes has been a role model of professionalism and community involvement to the growing Hispanic presence in South Florida," said Rick Murphy, Branch Manager for Coldwell Banker's Weston office.
