Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate Cares to Participate in the Sponsorship of a Special Needs
Habitat for Humanity Home
Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate Cares, the charitable arm of Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate in Florida, presented a check for $15,000 to Habitat for Humanity of Bay County on February 8. According to Jo Ann Revell, Regional (Cares) Representative and Branch Manager of the company's Beach Thomas Drive office, "We are so pleased to work with Tyndall Air Force base, Navy Coastal Systems Station and Habitat for Humanity of Bay County on this home as a part of their "Sea and Sky" build." The funds will be used to build a special needs house with ramps and a covered carport.

In 2006, the company commemorated its 100th anniversary by sponsoring 100 Habitat for Humanity homes across the United States. In Florida, the company has sponsored 12 Habitat for Humanity homes.

According to Joe Saber, Regional District Manager for Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate - Northwest Florida, "We look forward to helping our community and raising awareness of Cares and help a deserving family achieve the American dream of homeownership. Habitat for Humanity is an outstanding organization and we fully support their mission to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the world, and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action." Local Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate Cares representatives are Linda Thul, Debbie Van Zant, Daryl Burkey, Judy Golden, Michael Sammons and Jo Ann Revell. All money raised through the Cares foundation stays in the local community.
